Embedded replicas are a rockstar of a database feature if you are using VMs and VPS since you don't need to go through the wire to fetch your data, hence you get to experience latency in microseconds.

And, having added a bunch of new features such as read your own writes, encryption at rest, and periodic sync as announced in our last launch week they are now generally available (GA) and ready for production.

To assist you on your journey of getting SQLite to production, we've added a number of guides in the docs to help you deploy your projects that make use of embedded replicas to different platforms.

We'd also like to know what other platforms you deploy your projects to that you think we should make some more guides for.

We're looking to bring embedded replicas to mobile applications in the future since it's a feature some of you have been asking for and where we believe SQLite shines most. Watch our socials (Twitter, LinkedIn) and join our Discord to stay up to date.
